The municipality of Perroy has 3.6 hectares of vines exploited by 3 different winemakers. The grape varieties grown are Chasselas and Pinot Noir. Twice a year, the wine from the communal reserve is sold to the villagers during an aperitif at the old communal press. The majestic vats full of delightful nectar stand out between the Carnotzet chimney and the beautiful canvas at the back of the cellar.

The thousand-year-old Perroy vineyard is located in the heart of La Côte, in the Vaud region. Its vines were first mentioned on April 14, 910, when Rodolphe, king of Burgundy, confirmed to his nephew the possession of the domain. From the middle of the 10th century, monks from the Abbey of Saint-Philibert-de-Tournus settled in the village and from the beginning of the 12th century, they built a priory there. Since 1914, it has been owned by the municipality. Domaine de Prieuré (the “priory estate”) thanks to its charming church, its beautiful terrace and its surrounding vineyard, remains the flagship of Perroy village. Perroy is still today an important winegrowing area: 129 hectares out of the 296 hectares of the village are planted with vines.
