Vacherin Mont-d’Or
Ingredients
- For 4 persons
1 Vacherin Mont-d’Or
1 dl Chasselas
Preparation
Wrap the outside of the cheese in a sheet of aluminum foil and prick it with a fork.
Pour the wine over the top.
Place the cheese in a preheated 200 °C oven for 25 minutes.
The Vacherin Mont-d’Or is ready once removed from the oven.
It can be served with a spoon or, just like fondue, the bread may be dipped directly in it.
