Château de St-Saphorin, ideally located on the slopes of Lake Geneva above Morges, was built at the beginning of the 18th century by Sir François-Louis de Pesme to replace the old medieval castle. His descendents, members of the Mestral family, still own the Château. The surrounding vineyard of the Château is an island of greenery that produces remarkable and elegant wines.
